This fall, Asher Boston is Moving!
Asher Boston is moving -- and growing. In September 2008, Asher will relocate to 25 Symphony Road, in a newly renovated turn-of-the-20th-century brick apartment building. That's in the Fenway/Back Bay neighborhood, just around the corner from famed Symphony Hall and a block from The Mother Church.

Asher Boston's New Home
Asher's new building houses 14 people, each with his or her own bedroom. The four apartments include reading areas, gathering spaces, wireless broadband Internet, flatscreen HD televisions -- and the basement laundry room has a ping-pong table for you to either play on or use to fold your laundry.

Please email or call if you are interested in moving into the house, or in attending our open house to be held later in the fall.

Rent should be paid by the 1st of each month to the house manager. This rate includes all utilities except for phone service. Residents should use their cell phones.

Nearby Schools
The Boston area is well-known for having an incredible number of higher learning institutions. In this city you can study law, science, painting, opera, and everything in between. Asher Boston is within walking distance of Berklee School of Music, Boston Conservatory, Emerson College, New England Conservatory, Northeastern University and Simmons College. Just a short trip on public transportation will bring you to Boston University, Harvard University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Massachusetts College of Art, University of Massachusetts-Boston, and many others.

Resident Responsibilities
Asher House is a special environment which is like a home away from home, and has an atmosphere conducive to spiritual growth. Residents are expected to be active Christian Scientists who are willing to positively contribute to the household and the church community. We request that all residents participate in a metaphysical meeting each month in which we discuss readings and share testimonies of gratitude and healing. We live by the Matthew Code and the common courtesy of respecting our fellow housemates. We share the cleaning duties of the bathroom, kitchen, and trash on a rotating schedule. Residents should keep their personal belongings tidy and keep the noise level to a minimum late in the evening and early in the morning. Guests are welcome before midnight on weeknights and 2 A.M. on weekend nights.

Please feel free to call the house manager at the above listed number for more information. If you call in advance, you are more than welcome to come and visit the house!
